Russian Group Language Training
Group language training in Russian is mostly chosen by those who would like to socialize in the new environment and get to build a network of social connections with a broad circle of people. This is a powerful motivational factor for the successful development of the communicative Russian language skills.
Training Description
This makes it easier for people to cope with the language barrier, because they get used to communicating with different people from the very beginning, they learn to understand what the other is saying and adapt to their pronunciation. Group training is always dynamic and offers diversity. Depending on the level, some of the classes include role-playing and simulations, which reflect the different aspects of the actual life of the students. This also develops their teamwork skills. Competition in the group will stimulate you to complete all your tasks, so that you don’t fall behind in the group. The fixed schedule of the classes will help you get used to a specific rhythm and will be a good stimulus to attend regularly and not skip classes.
Group Training Specifics
There is no doubt that there are some disadvantages when working in a group. To bring such effects to a minimum we try to form groups of people with similar goals, tasks, and motivation. We work only in small groups (up to 5 people), so that every student has the chance to take an active part in the study process.
Whenever it is possible, we apply a differentiated approach in the language training process: the more advanced and more ambitious students get to complete harder tasks, white those who need more time to learn get extra tasks for revision.
We offer an online consultation meeting, free of charge, so that we can assess the best group for you or for your friend/relative.
Course Duration
The standard online courses in Russian have a duration of 2.5 months. One course consists of 20 classes of 90 minutes (40 study hours) + 2 free individual consultations (20-30 minutes). The classes can either be in the morning or in the evening, 2 times/ week.
How many courses are necessary to complete one level
The language training at Study in BG is divided into modules that correspond to the levels set out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The number of courses within one module can vary due to the group’s profile. For example, module А1 for some students consists of 2 consecutive courses, while for others – of 3 courses.
